I would like to share some experiences with my first scuba diving weekend near Tioman/Malaysia.
On Friday evening the trip started when we boarded the "White Manta" where we spent the evening eating delicious Thai food and some drinks while the captain brought us closer to our dive sites. After little sleep we had to get up at 6.30. Maybe it was good that I was still very sleepy so I had no time to worry about the whole adventure. I mechanically put on the gear, jumped into the water and enjoyed the whole experience! The same procedure took place another three times that day (including my first ever night dive) and twice on Sunday !
With the help of high sunscreen and lots of seasickness tablets I felt well and enjoyed the diving, food, company and beautiful night sky.
Unfortunately, we had some problems with the emigration in Malaysia and due to a missing stamp in our passports we had go back and collect it. Instead of an early arrival on Sunday evening we got to Singapore at 3am on Monday!
Nevertheless, I had an awesome weekend.
Take care, Steph who doesn't fear the jump into cold water!
